Forlorn Hope Two Norwegian witches (use your discretion), looking into the dark side of mythology, demonology and horror; this creates quite a ghoulish atmosphere. Favorite track: Sacrifice.

Originally released on the Cold Meat Industry label in 1995, this album by Norways' Aghast still rates as one of the darkest ambient albums ever produced in my honest opinion.

Listening to this today still has the same feel for me as when I first heard the original release 18 years ago! It's like being wrapped up in your own dark thoughts, as you wander through an eerie, mist shrouded forest with a witches vocals shrieking out from the thick line of trees that surround you. Still captivating, still eerie as hell and now available once again.

about

Aghast was a project by Nebelhexe and Nacht, released in 1994. This album was released back then by legendary Cold Meat Industry and is now presented in a great re-edition Vinyl by Ordo MCM. "Hexerei Im Zwielicht Der Finsternis" is real dark and gloomy ambience, played in a classical dark wave vein. Minimalism in musical content, compensated by spooky and ice-cold vocals that will haunt you. Macabre enchantresses will seduce you and take you to their ghastly realm. Hear gods cry and angels fall. Listen to the horror and beauty. Let Aghast bewitch you! Definitely one of the best Dark Ambient albums of all times.
